Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 27, 2026
BesteEsim is committed to making its website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We invest ongoing effort to keep this site accessible in line with Israeli law and recognized international standards.
Our commitment
Accessibility is part of how we build and maintain besteesim.com. We treat it as an ongoing process, not a one-time project: as we add destinations, plans, and features, we test and adjust them so that travelers using assistive technology can browse plans, complete a purchase, and manage their account independently.
Conformance standard
This website is designed to conform to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at Level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. Where this statement and the standard differ, the standard and the applicable regulations prevail.
Accessibility features on this site
Steps we have taken to make this site accessible include:
- Full keyboard operation, including a "skip to main content" link and visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Semantic structure with landmarks and a logical heading order, so screen readers can navigate pages predictably.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, flags, and icons; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Labelled form fields and clear, text-based error messages throughout the cart, checkout, and account flows.
- Color contrast that meets the AA threshold, with status never conveyed by color alone.
- Responsive layouts and touch targets sized for mobile use, with support for text resizing and reduced-motion preferences.
- A full Hebrew, right-to-left interface alongside English and Russian.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of, and working to improve, the following:
- Third-party components we embed, such as the PayPal payment window, the live-chat widget, and the Trustpilot reviews widget, are controlled by their providers and may not fully meet the standard.
- Some destination photography is sourced externally and may carry brief or generic text descriptions.
- Newly released pages may be in the process of accessibility testing.
Reporting a barrier — Notice and Cure
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, we want to fix it. As permitted under Israeli accessibility law (including Amendment No. 35 to the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and its "notice and cure" arrangement for internet services), we ask that you give us the opportunity to correct the issue before pursuing any other remedy:
- Send written notice of the specific barrier to our accessibility coordinator (details below), including the page address (URL), a description of the problem, the device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using, and a way to contact you.
- We will acknowledge your notice and begin investigating without delay.
- We will work to remedy the barrier, or provide the requested content or service through an accessible alternative, within the cure period allowed by law. The current period set in the regulations is up to 60 days from the date of your notice.
- If the matter is fully remedied within that period, the law does not entitle a claimant to statutory compensation (compensation without proof of damage) for that barrier.
This procedure reflects the statutory "notice and cure" mechanism and does not waive any right you have under law. Cure periods and conditions are those set by the applicable regulations from time to time; where this summary and the law differ, the law prevails.
Disclaimer
While we make every effort to ensure full accessibility, temporary issues may occur due to system updates, technological changes, third-party integrations, or newly added content. We do not guarantee perfect accessibility at all times, but we are committed to resolving any issue as quickly as possible and in accordance with the law.
